"This short novel is written with a fast-paced, no-nonsense style. Here, Sara and Tamara, (two young adult cousins) are enjoying a bit of the `night life' - like we all do in our youth. However, their experience was quite different. Instead of fun parties and kissing boys, these two girls find themselves thrown into a conflict between vampires - a conflict with deep roots in desperate love and heavy obsession. Twisted with memories that were not her own, Sara finds herself - from another lifetime. You know it is a good story when you are still thinking about it days later. `But was Tamara someone from the past? What about poor Antonio who showed such affection for Sara?' Thoughts like these are still ringing in my mind.
Elizabeth Sanchez provided a unique twist to the often over-saturated vampire theme. Get this book - you will enjoy it! "

"In French Blood, Elizabeth Sanchez offers a new twist on a tired theme. Fraught with intrigue, this story chronicles a few days in the life of an American teenager on vacation in France. Instead of experiencing a wondrous excursion to Europe, Sara finds herself engaging in battles with vampires and dealing with memories of a past life. I found the plot quite enjoyable."

Sara finds a note on the windowsill addressed to Tamara, and this note draws her into the past, through 1672, and in particular, to her past love, one that could continue!

Through Antonio’s secret and the journal of Angelina Blanc, French Blood reveals an extraordinary love story, a tale of stolen love, lost memories and disguised vampires trying to make contact with the present.

French Blood is a riveting tale, a good read!”
